Description

• These Covers fit Sears models 5604, 5631 and J.R. Clark RidJid ironing boards with retractable wings at the nose end (see photo)
• A nylon cord drawstring, fitted with a cord stop, ensures for a snug, long lasting fit. Plus two sets of ties will secure the cover when the wings are retracted.
• The covers can be spot cleaned and the fabrics are a medium weight cotton twill or a silver metallic, aluminum coated cotton.
• Order a cover only or a cover with a separate, dense needle-punched 6mm polyester pad. We highly recommend ordering a pad for the metal mesh ironing surface.
• Made in the USA. Be patient, these are hand cut and sewn by seamstresses in our Berks County, PA communities.

This ClarUSA Premium Cover fits the J.R. Clark Rid Jid and Sears Models 5604 & 5631 from the 1960s,These ironing boards have two wings at the nose/narrow end that can be moved in or out with a lever (See photo). Your cover is proudly made in the USA (Berks County PA) and is expertly crafted from either a silver metallic cotton with a heat reflective surface or a midweight 100% cotton twill in a variety of colors and prints. A nylon cord drawstring, fitted with a cord stop, ensures for a snug, long lasting fit. Two sets of ties will help secure the cover when the wings are retracted. We highly recommend you order an underlay pad to go with your new cover. If you order both the cover and pad, the separate piece of padding is cut to the exact size and shape of the ironing board with the wings up and the cover is designed to fit over the pad and hold it tight to your board. Note that the dense, needle-punched polyester pad is much thicker than the original pad and is too thick to be sewn into the cover.
