This easy to use lid replaces the existing oval-shaped lid on most Cornelius-style kegs. The gas post leads to an internal gas line and ends at a 0.5-micron diffusion stone. The micron diffusion stone works with both carbon dioxide and nitrogen with two different functions. It delivers a fine stream of nitrogen into the coffee from the bottom of the keg, infusing it along the way. All without opening the keg or rolling it around on the ground. It just makes your nitro infusion process for your beer, cold brew, nitrogen coffee, or beer easier. The stone also provides a fine and evenly-distributed stream of carbon dioxide into your beer if thats more your style. It starts at the bottom, of course, where it can most easily permeate the entire contents of your keg. Lid with O-ring includes a ball lock gas post, locking bale, and 22 of gas line. Lid installation is as easy as removing the old keg lid and putting the infusion lid in its place. No modification required. *We recommend boiling the diffusion stone for 3-5 minutes before using, to sterilize it and to remove any manufacturing residue. Please note: foot cover color may vary.
