Ceramic decorative clock to hang on the wall made with the dry rope techinque, a piece of the best quality and handcrafted, made with enamels cooked in a ceramic oven. This magnificent product is handcrafted in Seville in Spain. An ideal complement to decorate the home. Once the pieces are molded, they are baked at 1070C in a special oven. After the first firing, the product is decorated for the first time with all colors except gold, then it is recoated for the second time at 945C and then, in the case of products decorated with gold, it is enriched with dissolved liquid gold, with particules resins, which during the third and last firing of 720C are burned and leaving only 24 carat gold on the surface. The origin of "Cuerda Seca" (Dry Rope) techinque goes back to medieval times when the great cities of southern Spain, Sevilla, Crdoba, where the main centers of Western art and culture. In this environment expert master ceramists combined two noble materials; gold and enamel, to create extraordinary works of art today appreciated worldwide. The designs of these pieces have a clear geometric muslim influence. Attention: Handpainted pieces. Colours, sizes and shapes may suffer slight differences. Clean with a dry cloth.
