- You will receive exactly this Fluorite Vase - 110mm x 56mm / 4 5/16 x 2 3/16 Inches; 410g / 14.5 oz (see photo, the photos are taken under bright light!)! This decorative vase is solid and without hollows. Above there is only a small decorative depression. Photo under SW UV light was taken with using powerful 6w lamp with optical filter!

- Named in 1797 by Carlo Antonio Galeani Napione from the Latin, fluere - to flow (for its use as a flux). The term fluorescence is derived from fluorite, which will often markedly exhibit this effect. The element fluorine also derives its name from fluorite, a major source for the element.
