- Allow 8 hours to soak the Gels in water. The Transparent Gels can be soaked and stored in water weeks in advance of your event. The Floating Snowflakes can be prepared in the vases up to 7 days in advance, stay afloat, fresh looking for months, and are transportable, storable, and reusable. You can practice on a vase in advance, then you can remove the Gels used and store them back in water to use for your event! So nothing goes to waste :)
